Prairie Rose Farms is offering our stallion Ima
Colonel Boon (aka “Kash” 2008 Bay Stallion) for the 2012 breeding season. Our goal with Kash is to produce prospects
for cutting, reining, working cowhorse, and ranch versatility with excellent minds & confirmation. We are only standing
Kash to a limited number of mares for the 2012 season, so please book soon if you are interested. We are booking him on a
first come, first serve basis. He will be standing with an introductory stud fee of $300 LFG ($100 non-refundable hold is
required to hold your breeding position). Our mare care is $6.00 per day. We will be breeding him via Live Cover.
Kash’s sire Ima Star Shiner, a chestnut son of Shining Spark, is a proven
show horse being an AQHA Superior Award winner with 67.5 AQHA Reining Points and a 3-Time World Show Qualifier. He is also
an NRHA Bronze trophy winner with earnings over $2500. Shiner's dam Ima Foxy Wilson was an own daughter of Doc Wilson and
a producer herself of over $30,000 in NRHA/NCHA. Shiner’s first year of offspring were donated into University of Wisconsin's
equine program. All were offered for auction immediately after each student had finished training. All foals from 2005 - 2008
were honored as easy to train and exceptional athletes.
Kash’s dam Peppers Boon Leigha, has won over
$5,000 in NCHA. However, her show career was cut short due to having an injury. She is out of the Cols Lil Pepper who is out
of the great Colonel Freckles. He is a proven sire, among being an earner of over $180,000 in NCHA. On the bottom side, she
is also out a son of Doc Bar. Boon Bar is an earner of over $12,000 in NCHA.
Our first foal crop will be hitting the ground this spring & we are very excited to
see the results! Kash is a very well-mannered horse & has the best attitude that you will find in a stallion. We hope
to start showing him in the future. Right now we are exposing him to all kinds of activities to make him a well-rounded stallion.
Everyone that sees Kash can’t believe how quite he is. He is a great stallion that is heavy boned, athletic, correct
and comes from a proven show family. You can view the extended pedigrees at www.allbreedpedigree.com.
"Would just like to comment on Kash. I was immediately impressed with his temperment. Especially
around other mares and geldings. Love his breeding and his conformation...he is one sharp looking stud with a good head on
them shoulders." Molly Saunders
