Before you begin, I would like to give you a little bit of history
about us. I have been raised around horses my whole life. I started riding them before I could even walk. Horses are my passion
and my way of life! They are more than just animals to me, they are my “kids”. I attended Nebraska College of
Technical Agriculture, at which I recieved my degree in Equine Management, including passing with honors in Parelli Natural
Horse-man-ship. My fiance, Jake, has also had a lot of experience growing up with horses. He grew up showing them in
open and 4-H shows. He has also worked on feedlots in which he rode horses to check the cattle. Both Jake &
I have also found great pleasure and experience in attending many training clinics by well known horse trainers including
Clinton Anderson and Shawn Flarida, amongst others.
Jake &
I started our breeding program because of our passion for animals.
I have worked for several trainers and worked on numerous ranches/farms.
By working at those places, I have learned a lot about the industry such as raising horses, training horses, and running my
own horse business. The horses that I was raised around were used mainly for pleasure, however, I have always been interested
in using them for more than that...show, performance, working cattle, etc. That is the direction we have taken our breeding
program to... we work extensively with all of our horses on Reining, Roping, Trail riding, working cattle, and of course we
still enjoy our pleasure riding when we get free time.
Our animals
are raised in the most natural environment that we can provide. The horses are allowed to be in pasture or large pens with
plenty of room to run around. They are provided plenty of hay & fresh water. We grain them based on each individuals needs.
The horses are allowed to socialize with each other. There are times when some will be segregated out for training purposes
but only for short periods at a time. They are not spoiled, they each have their own jobs, but they do get plenty of love
& attention from us. Even the stallion is allowed to be social (manners of course being enforced), unlike many that are
not allowed to have any contact until breeding season. We feel that this makes him better minded when handling him on an daily
basis. All of our horses have a place in life and are a very important part of our family! We have chosen Quarter horses
as our main breed to interact with due to them being family-oriented, hard working, & easily adaptable horses.
