Due to the economy we have cut our herd down. Our goal is to breed quality not quantity. So we only have a limited # of breeding stock. You can see Misty's '09 colt on his page, "Hollywood Peppy Jack". He's going to be a nice one!

Eighty Six Blonde
Sire: Lenas Sugar Prince
Dam: Laced With Jac
AQHA/PHBA 2007 Palomino Mare

isabella1.5.jpg

Here is a gorgeous double registered filly with a hard to find pedigree! We are really excited about this girl! She is a beautiful mare with enormous potential! Her sire is an Open NRHA money winner; his full sister swept all 3 divisions of the Northampton Classic Slide in Derby Non Pro. This filly's dam was only unshown due to injury- however, her sire has won over 60K. Her 2nd dam, Holly Bingo, has produced winners in both cutting and reining of over 100K.

We have started riding Bella and she is becoming a very nice prospect! I have taken her down the road (thru dithces, creeks, over wooden bridges, etc.), as well as hauled her to a few places such as an indoor arena where they were team roping. Some things when she is first introduced to them she gets a little nervous as any young horse does, but it doesnt take much to get her to relax. At the roping she was just watching all that was going on and only got scared once when 2 ropers were running straight for her. She only had about 10 rides on her at that time. At about 45 days of riding, I already have her collecting up real nice. It wont take much to keep her advancing with her training. We hope to haul her to a few shows in the near future to get her exposed to them. She is still very green so she will require an experienced rider until she has more hours spent on her back. Bella is very quiet and easy to get along with. If our schedules weren’t so hectic this past summer she would have been further along. We will continue working with her this summer or until sold. Our goal is to train/show her in Reining & Working Cow horse, along with the new up and coming Ranch Versatility Shows. We may try her in Cutting in the future depending on what her abilities are. Mostly we want to expose her to many different areas but will focus her in the one that she excels in the most. I think that she definitely has a lot of potential for the Cutting. She is very catty!! Look for her at shows in the near future...She is a beauty you wont be able to miss!!!!

**Update: I have recently taken Bella to a week long clinic at the Double Horn Ranch with Craig Cameron. She will also been filmed in one of his shows on RFDtv the end of November. Here are a couple of the patterns that I was doing there at the ranch:

Pep Up Misty
Sire: Pep Up Bart
Dam: Zip She Will
AQHA 1995 Sorrel Mare

mistybaby3.6.jpg

Misty is a big, stout mare with excellent conformation that comes from a great line of horses. She comes from some great foundation lines which include, Two Eyed Jack, Three Bars, Skipper W, Leo Pat, Zippo Pine Bar, and many more. We have used Misty primarily as a trail horse, but she has also been used to pony colts around and to move and check cows. I was told that her first owner also used her as a barrel horse. Misty has a good mind and could go further with training very easily. I think she would make a really good roping horse if someone would take the time to work with her. We have had too many colts to get her going into anything else. She does have a big motor, but anyone with some experience would be able to ride her just fine. We have led kids around on her, but I am not selling her as 'kid broke'. I think that a kid with experience could get along with her, but we have never tried it. I climbed on Misty after 2 years of not being ridden due to having a couple of colts and she rode off like she had been doing it all along. I was very impressed! I rode her all summer two summers ago and ponied all of our colts around with her and just rode her all over. Misty has been ridden along the highway with semi's and all kinds of vehicles flying past her....they don’t phase her one bit! She is also used to dogs running around her feet, as well as farm equipment being operated around her, and other things that scare most horses. I love the fact that Misty is not a dead-head. She is very aware of her surroundings and is responsive to any cues that I give her.

Misty is a very friendly mare, the first to meet you at the gate. She is also a very easy keeper. The only bad thing that she has is that she can be bossy with other horses. She always wants to be the head horse. However, we do not have any problems messing with her colts or doing anything on the ground with her. She will ride, stand tied, stand for the farrier, bathe, etc. If you are looking for a broodmare, now is your opportunity to breed this mare the way you want!! Misty had her first foal in ‘08 by Zippo Cedar Bar. He was built like a tank! "Hollywood Peppy Jack", her '09 colt, turned out to be a great horse by 'Sand Peppy Twist'. We are very excited to see how her ‘12 colt out of our stallion, ‘Ima Colonel Boon’, will turn out. Misty is an excellent mother! Stands approx. 14.3 H. *** We are offering a free breeding to our stallion upon purchase. ($2000 mare or $2500 mare/colt)

See her extended pedigree at http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/pep+up+misty.

**Update: Misty had her colt on 3/27. He is the first crop out of Kash & is a sharp little stud colt with a ton of crome.
